Cyber Stalking
Cyber stalking is the act of stalking and harassing people online using email and other forms of electronic communication. It differs from spam because it targets specific people instead of large amounts of people. One example of this is a stalker sending multiple emails harassing someone until they give them information that the stalker wants. |
Another example of cyber stalking would be going through someones Facebook in order to find personal information about the person.
A real life example of cyber stalking is Dennis Chiaramello, who had forty-five cyber stalking vicitims. He had contact with four of them that were minors.
